FAQs

Q: Do you have a patreon?A: Hopefully soon!Q: Why is there an additional fee for mechs, mechanical, and armored characters?A: Mechs tend to be more difficult to draw because of all the inflexible materials; you have to be far more precise with proportion and perspective or it looks off. Mechanical and armored characters have the same issue, and even for more flexible and organic ones like Jack, they tend to be higher detail, which requires a lot of design effort. That's why I offer a discount for thorough reference. If I can get a good understanding of the 3d shapes and design elements, it significantly diminishes the labor cost for me.Q: Why are your terms of service so strict regarding content and communications if you're an NSFW artist?A: If you enjoy sexual content, chances are there are still things you find uncomfortable or disturbing, with or without reason. The same goes for people who make sexual content. There's no way to know without asking whether someone is comfortable with something unless they give an exhaustive list of things they're not comfortable with, and it's not reasonable to expect anyone to provide that much personal information, especially publicly, and especially online.

Have a question?

If it's about commissioning and there are slots open, I recommend just submitting an application to secure a spot and asking in that message - you can always decide you don't want to move forward. Otherwise, you can contact me via email (preferred) or Bluesky (must be over the age of 18).

Pricing

Add ons
Full body+$40
Color+$20
Mechs, mechanical, and armored characters+$20 (discounted with adequate reference)
Multiple characters70% of base price for each additional character
Alts% of the original based on how much additional work is required

Base price is calculated per character. The most complex character is full price, and each additional character commissioned at the same time is 70% of their own base price.

For example, the above image features two mechanical and one organic character, all full body. If they were commissioned fully colored and shaded, here's how the price would be calculated:

CharacterChargesTotal
First mechanical character$90(shaded bust)+$40(full body)+$20(coloring)+$20(mech)$170
Second mechanical character$90(shaded bust)+$40(full body)+$20(coloring)+$20(mech) × 0.7(additional character)$119
Organic character$90(shaded bust)+$40(full body)+$20(coloring) × 0.7(additional character)$105

Total$394

Once you know what you want, you're ready to send in an application and start the commission process. Or, for more details on the commission process and terms of service, see the buttons below.

The Commission Process

Here's what'll happen once you submit a commission application.

1. Send in an application by email. Slots are first come first serve.2. I will respond to your email. We will discuss details, and I'll create a quick gesture sketch to establish composition, like this.

3. Once we decide on a plan, I'll email you an invoice for the first 50% of the commission via Stripe. I'll start work on the piece once I receive it.The main stages include:
a. Storyboard style sketch: a quick gesture sketch to establish composition and poses.
b. Halfway point: to make sure I'm getting body type and colors correct and am going the right direction with expressions. Major pose reworks will cost extra at this stage (more info in Terms of Service). I'll send you another invoice for the remaining 50%, and I'll continue working when I receive it.
c. Final pass: a last check to get your approval or make tweaks to expressions, color, lighting. Major reworks will cost extra depending on complexity (more info in Terms of Service).
4. Done! You get a high res version of your commission and I post a slightly lower res version on my accounts.

Terms of Service

General

By commissioning me you, the client, agree to my Terms of Service.I, the artist, reserve the right to refuse or cancel work at any time for any reason. Services paid for but not yet rendered will be refunded to the client except in cases of violations of these terms of service.

Content and communications

By commissioning me for an NSFW piece you acknowledge that you are over the age of 18.Sexuality is broadly varied. Imagery or language of certain sexual content that may seem tame or mainstream to you may be deeply uncomfortable for others, and in the same vein, producing sexual content is not blanket permission to share or talk about any kink.Hate, slurs, and pejorative language in private messaging, including jokes, toward any group, regardless of the artist's identity, will not be tolerated. Therefore:

  • The client will not explain the requested piece in graphic detail without first giving warning of the included kinks and getting permission to elaborate.

  • The client will not send images and attachments without getting permission from me first.

  • First messages (initial requests) sent directly to my email containing images/attachments will be automatically flagged as spam and deleted without me ever seeing them.

  • Hate, slurs, and pejorative language, whether or not it is aimed at the artist, will be grounds for canceling a commission without a refund.

Payment

Payment is processed through Stripe Invoices. You will get two invoices over the course of the commission:

  • 50% payment after commission details are agreed upon

  • The other 50% after seeing the half-finished piece

At each of these points, we will communicate over email to determine details. Once you acknowledge the price, including any additional charges if you choose to have me do more work, I will send the invoice immediately and you will have 24 hours to pay it. Once paid, the charge will appear on your account as from MOSSYSAUCE. When I receive the payment, I will start or continue work on the piece. Failure to pay the invoice will be grounds for me to cancel the commission. You may cancel a commission at any time by notifying me via email. If something happens or you change your mind during production, after you have already made a payment, you can request a refund via email. I will refund any work I haven't completed and deliver the work I have completed.Trying to obtain a refund by disputing a payment through your bank will be grounds for me not to issue a refund and cancel any commission work for you going forward. If I need to cancel the commission for any reason other than Terms of Service violations, I will refund any work I haven't completed and deliver the work I have completed.
